Endowed Scholarship
Endowed Scholarship
An endowed scholarship is one that has been established to continue forever. It may have been established to honor a donor, a loved one, an organization or it may also have been established to "pay it forward" for a blessed life. Endowed Scholarships are established with donations in multiples of $10,000. Every year the Endowment Association will give away five percent of the original investment to the selected candidate(s). Once an endowed scholarship has been established, it will forever impact students within USD 416. It will continue in perpetuity leaving a legacy that truly will stand the test of time.

Pass Through scholarships pass donations from the donor, through the endowment association, to the winning applicant. These types of scholarships benefit the donor(s) who desire to give an annual gift. Donors have discretion on how long this gift will continue.

Whether establishing an Endowed Scholarship or a Pass Through Scholarship, donors and their representatives can be involved with as little or as much of the application and selection process as they desire.
